About me

My background

I grew up in Champagne, France, where life follows the rhythm of the vineyards. Early on, I gained hands-on experience through seasonal work in winemaking and vineyard labor — from bottling wine in the cellar, to trellising vines for healthy grape growth, to participating in multiple harvests where grapes were carefully hand-sorted. I also worked in the logistics side of Champagne, helping prepare packaging and export materials.

I hold a WSET Level 2 Award in Wines, an internationally recognized certification covering major grape varieties, regions, and wine styles around the world.

In the United States, I spent two and a half years at Total Wine & More leading tastings, teaching wine classes, and helping customers find wines they love. I also worked for one year at AJ’s Fine Foods as a Wine Steward, offering personalized recommendations and educational tasting experiences.

With a background in tourism studies, I naturally moved into wine tourism, combining field experience, professional training, and customer service to make wine more approachable and enjoyable for everyone.

About me

My Wine Story

I was practically baptized with Champagne — a local tradition where I grew up in Champagne, France. Wine has always been part of everyday life for me, from family meals and long Sunday lunches to food and wine pairings and the culture of the apéritif.

My interest turned into a passion in my late teens. What started socially with friends gradually became a deeper curiosity for wine — from easy summer rosés to whites and reds. Early jobs in vineyards and Champagne production brought me even closer to the craft and culture behind every bottle.

Internships at the Cité du Champagne and the Grand Reims Tourism Office led me to specialize in wine tourism, and I quickly became the go-to wine enthusiast among friends. Over time, I explored many wine regions in France and abroad through vineyard visits and tastings.

During the COVID period, I earned my WSET certification, which opened my perspective to a more global understanding of wine beyond Europe.

Before moving to the United States, I traveled through Argentina, Uruguay, and Brazil, visiting wineries and discovering South American wines. Later, working at Total Wine & More in Arizona helped me deepen my knowledge of American and international wines while sharing my passion with customers. I also spent time in Napa Valley assisting with pre-harvest work at a winery.

About me

Why I Created This Project

I created this project to share my passion for wine, teach the fundamentals, and go deeper with curious wine lovers in a relaxed and approachable way.

While working at Total Wine & More, I didn’t just pour wine — I educated. During tastings, I shared stories about regions, grape varieties, and wine history. I also led two types of classes: short, introductory sessions and longer, in-depth workshops focused on specific themes like sparkling wines, Italy, France, or California. Even when preparation time was short, the classes were always a success, and many customers asked if I offered courses outside of the store — which wasn’t possible due to company policies.

I did have one opportunity to teach outside the store for a large group event, and it confirmed how much I loved creating engaging wine experiences beyond a retail setting.

At AJ’s Fine Foods, I continued sharing wine knowledge through tastings and customer interactions. Former and new customers alike often asked if I still taught wine classes — and that question stayed with me.

So I decided to create something of my own: wine workshops outside of a store environment, in a warm, friendly atmosphere where learning about wine feels fun, not intimidating.

My approach is accessible, educational, and passionate. No unnecessary jargon, no snobbery — just clear guidance, practical tasting skills, and knowledge adapted to your level, interests, and budget.
